People and Planet

Pink City Prints is powered by two incredible teams, spanning continents but united by a shared passion for craft and creativity. In Jaipur, our artisans bring each design to life using heritage techniques, while in London, our team drives everything from marketing and design to operations and logistics.

In the heart of Jaipur, our design studio and in-house stitching unit bring nearly a quarter of our annual production to life, guided by a deep commitment to craftsmanship and community. Every piece we create is carefully overseen from start to finish, reflecting the skill and dedication of our team. But more than a workspace, our stitching unit is a family—we foster a joyful, supportive environment, with breaks in the garden and a focus on wellbeing. Our team enjoys yearly salary increases, health insurance, and double pay for overtime.

Together the two teams blend artistry with innovation - honouring tradition while building a brand that’s bold, beautiful, and full of heart. Two teams, two cities, one vision: to create joyful, timeless fashion that celebrates everyone, everywhere.

By prioritising handmade over machine-made, we provide sustainable livelihoods for artisans while preserving traditional craftsmanship that might otherwise be lost. Every stitch, print, and weave represents India’s rich textile heritage, and we are dedicated to keeping these art forms alive.

We believe slow fashion is the best fashion. Thoughtfully crafted and designed to last, our garments are made with care - for the people who create them and the planet we all share.

We use only natural, biodegradable fabrics - around 90% of which is GOTS-certified organic cotton - ensuring that no harmful pesticides impact the land or the wellbeing of farming communities. The remaining 10% is made up of linen and hand-loomed cotton. Our linen grows with minimal water, and all wastewater from our block-printing unit is thoroughly cleaned and recycled before being returned to local water sources.

Minimising waste is our commitment. We produce each piece in small batches, ensuring your dresses remain limited edition while avoiding unnecessary excess. Where possible, fabric offcuts are repurposed - into reusable packaging, accessories, or test fits. Old samples are donated to local orphanages in India or sold in the UK at our annual charity Sample Sale.

Our commitment to sustainability extends to every detail, including our packaging. We use biodegradable plastic wrapping, recycled paper mailers, and reusable cotton totes, reducing our impact long after a product leaves our hands. And we’re continually working towards a greener future - from researching recycled fabric options to refining every stage of our production, ensuring that Pink City Prints leaves a lighter footprint with each new collection.

Beyond fashion, empowering women and girls is at the heart of what we do. We are proud to support the Sneh Girls Shikshan Sansthan School, providing a safe and nurturing education for girls from migrant laborer families in urban slums. With access to quality learning, regular health check-ups, and counseling sessions, the school helps protect against child labor and early marriage, creating opportunities for a brighter future.
